1. Introduction

Welcome to Generate Simulations. We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing a secure sandbox environment where you can confidently create, run, and share interactive simulations. This Privacy Policy details the types of information we collect, how it is processed, and your rights regarding that information.

By using our service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties under any circumstances.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to deliver and optimize our code sandbox generation experience. The data we collect includes:

Account Authentication Details: When you sign in (via Google or other OAuth providers via Firebase Authentication), we receive your primary email address, display username, and profile avatar URL.
User-Generated Content: We store the interactive prompts you enter, the images you upload as references for simulation layout, the generated HTML5/CSS/JavaScript code files, as well as comments, ratings (likes), and version histories you create.
Gamification & Experience Metrics: We track your daily simulation generation count, daily reward claim states, and total experience points (XP) to manage server utilization fairly.
Technical & Session Logs: Firebase services may log temporary operational identifiers, including your IP address and device/browser user agent strings, for security and usage throttling.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your data for the following essential operational purposes:

To execute, save, and host the interactive simulations you generate so they run smoothly in the browser.
To display your public display name and creations on the global community feed for other members to explore and interact with.
To monitor daily rate limits to ensure computational resources are shared equitably across the platform.
To manage security audits, track daily login rewards, and prevent automated spam or malicious database writes.

Public Release Warning: Because this platform is built on community sharing, any simulation you generate and submit, along with your comments, will be visible on the public feed. Please avoid entering sensitive personal data in prompts or comments.

4. AI Processing & Safety Boundaries

To write the physics code for your simulation ideas, we transmit your text prompts and any uploaded reference images directly to advanced AI language model APIs (including Google Gemini and partner systems).

Strict Privacy Boundary: We never transmit your account email address, password, nickname, or profile credentials to these external AI models. All transmissions are processed anonymously as standalone simulation request bundles.

Please note that any information you voluntarily write inside your text prompts (such as personal names or addresses) will be sent to the AI APIs to complete the coding request. We recommend keeping prompts purely technical and focused on physics, gameplay, and design.

5. Data Storage & Third-Party Infrastructure

We rely on high-grade industry infrastructure to safeguard your data. The core sub-processors we use are:

Google Firebase (Authentication & Cloud Firestore): All user credentials, simulation database records, likes, comments, and stats are stored securely on Firebase cloud servers. Data transmission uses secure SSL/TLS protocols.
Gemini AI API / Google Cloud: Prompts are securely processed through secure API endpoints to generate simulator logic.
Browser LocalStorage: We utilize standard browser local storage and caching to save user authentication state (so you don't have to log in on every refresh) and theme preferences. No tracking pixels or advertising cookies are placed on your device.

6. Your Rights, Data Deletion, and Choices

We believe you should have complete control over the digital assets you build on our site:

Simulation Deletion: You can delete any simulation you have created directly from your profile dashboard. This immediately and permanently purges the code and simulation entry from our database.
Comment Control: If you would like to edit or delete any specific comment you have left, you can do so or contact the administrator to have it manually removed.
Account Erasure: If you wish to completely wipe your account, associated logs, display name, and all historical records from our database, you can make a request to the admin email below. We will handle all verified erasure requests within 7 business days.

Welcome to Generate Simulations. By accessing or using our website, database features, and browser-based AI code sandbox (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the platform administrator, Zay Temkin. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes agreement to any updated rules.

2. User Accounts & Security

To access community posting, saving, liking, and our extended daily generation features, you may register or log in using third-party credentials (via Firebase Authentication). When you log in, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration profile details (including display nicknames).
Maintain the confidentiality of your session authentication status.
Accept sole responsibility for all uploads, comments, and simulation requests generated under your account identifier.

We are not liable for any unauthorized access or loss resulting from your failure to secure your account credentials.

3. AI Simulation Rules & Credit Limits

The Service processes user inputs and uploads using advanced AI models to write interactive client-side code. To prevent computing abuse and keep servers active, the following rules apply:

Rate & Generation Throttling: We enforce daily generation limits and gamified XP streak controls per account. You agree not to bypass, attempt to bypass, or script automatic requests to circumvent these rate blocks.
Banned Prompts: You must not type prompts or upload images designed to force the AI code engines to output malware, security exploits, obscene scripts, copyright-infringing materials, or malicious software.
API Dependencies: AI generation relies on external API pipelines (such as Google Gemini). Generations are subject to API availability, and we do not guarantee immediate response delivery.

4. User Creations & Public Licensing

You own the original text prompts and design templates you submit to the Service. However, because our sandbox operates on global community values, the following terms govern all generated outcomes:

Public License Grant: When you generate, save, or publish a simulation on our platform, you grant Generate Simulations a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to host, display, execute, run, copy, distribute, format, and demonstrate your simulation, comments, display name, and code assets.
Open Source Code: Code files generated on the site are readable and inspectable by the public. You agree that other users are free to view, copy, fork, and learn from the code arrays you publish on the feed.
Prohibited Uploads: You are strictly prohibited from posting comments or creating simulations that promote harassment, hate speech, illegal activities, intellectual property theft, or privacy violations. We reserve the absolute right to delete any simulation or comment at our sole discretion.

Safety Warning: Users run simulation code inside their own browsers. While we sandbox output views, we are not responsible for client-side scripts, and users run community simulations entirely at their own risk.

5. Intellectual Property of the Platform

While user-generated simulation scripts are openly visible, the structural elements of the platform itself are proprietary. All rights, titles, and interests in the website layout, custom CSS modules (e.g., Apple frosted glass styles, animations), database schemas, branding logos, app architecture, and front-end SPA routing are owned exclusively by **Generate Simulations** and Zay Temkin.

You may not scrape, clone, replicate, or resell the central application logic or packaging without explicit written consent from the administrator.

6. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties: The Service, including all AI-generated code, text, layouts, and simulations, is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, that the simulations will run without errors, remain stable, or perform safely on all device processors.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zay Temkin and the platform shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including data loss, browser freezes, system instability, or processor overheating) arising out of your use, inability to use, or reliance on the Service or its generated code segments.

7. Account Terminations & Contact Information

We reserve the right, without notice and at our sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Service, delete your stored simulations, or block your authentication ID if we determine you have violated these Terms, engaged in security abuses, or bypassed server rate limit blocks.

Generate Simulations is a collaborative ecosystem built for developers, physics nerds, gamers, and creators of all skill levels. To keep this community helpful and supportive, we enforce a strict standard of respect:

Be Constructive: Offer actionable design feedback and helpful code suggestions. Bullying, trolling, or insulting other creators is completely unacceptable.
No Harassment: We do not tolerate hate speech, slurs, threats, personal attacks, or discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, nationality, or coding background.
Keep it Professional: Keep discussions focused on simulation logic, math, game mechanics, and design layout.

2. AI Prompt Safety & Content Boundaries

Our code sandbox allows you to generate functional scripts dynamically using AI. Since code execution runs inside user browsers, we maintain strict safety limits on user inputs:

No Harmful Code: Do not write prompts or upload images designed to force the generator to build malware, trojans, infinite loops meant to crash devices, phishing layouts, or malicious scripts.
Explicit Content: Do not attempt to generate simulations depicting explicit sexual content, graphic violence, self-harm, or illegal items.
Safety Guardrails: System filters automatically check prompt inputs. Intentionally testing system filters or trying to jailbreak the AI generator model to produce banned content will lead to immediate account suspension.

3. IP, Attribution, and Collaboration

Learning from others is the core of our platform. We encourage users to inspect, fork, and adapt community simulations. However, respect for creators' intellectual property is mandatory:

Give Credit: If you fork, heavily adapt, or copy significant code functions from another user's simulation, acknowledge their original work in your simulation's description.
No Plagiarism: Do not screenshot or copy another user's simulation, save it as your own without modifications, and upload it to farm XP.
Media Permits: Do not upload reference images or code scripts that violate trademark or copyright law. Use royalty-free or custom-created designs whenever possible.

4. Fair Play & Anti-Abuse Standards

To ensure computational resources are shared fairly and reward lists remain authentic, we protect our game mechanics and limitations:

No Botting/XP Farming: Do not use automated scripts, macros, or browser plugins to register accounts, claim daily rewards, or post generic comments to farm XP.
Rate Limit Respect: Do not attempt to bypass your daily AI generation limits using burner accounts, multi-IP routing, or API manipulations.
Database Protection: Any attempt to probe, exploit, or bypass database security rules (Firestore/Storage rules) will result in an immediate permanent hardware ban and logging.

Anti-Abuse Notice: We monitor database event frequencies. Accounts showing abnormal, scripted, or rule-bypassing traffic are automatically flagged for review by the admin team.

5. Content Quality & Spam Controls

To keep the global community feed high-quality and scannable, please adhere to these standards:

No Advertising/Spam: Do not use comment sections or simulation titles to advertise external products, post affiliate links, drop crypto promotions, or spam repetitive messages.
Titles & Descriptions: Name your simulations descriptive names (e.g. "Double Pendulum Visualizer") rather than generic text like "asdfghjkl" or "test1". This helps other users discover and enjoy your work.
Functional Scripts: Try to verify that your simulation runs successfully in the preview container before submitting it to the community feed. If a simulation is broken, use the AI editor modal to refine and fix it first.

6. Reporting Violations

If you encounter a simulation, reference image, nickname, or comment that violates these guidelines, please report it to the administrator immediately:

7. Enforcement Policy

We review reported violations and apply moderation actions fairly. Depending on the severity and frequency of the violation, we apply the following actions:

Warning: For minor guidelines issues (e.g. low-quality spam or minor argument), a formal warning will be sent.
Content Removal: Inappropriate, spam, or plagiarized comments and simulations will be removed from the database immediately.
Temporary Suspension: Bypassing rate limits or repeatedly violating safety bounds will lead to a 7-day account lock.
Permanent Ban: Extreme violations (e.g., trying to write database exploits, scripting API spam, or engaging in severe harassment) will result in a permanent ban of the user credential and IP address.

To prevent computing abuse, spam, and keep our platform free for everyone, we enforce a daily limit of **50 simulation generations** per user, which resets every 24 hours. Your remaining generation allowance is displayed on your profile card.

All code files compiled on this platform are open-source and public by design. Other community members are free to view, copy, fork, and learn from the code structures you publish on the feed. While you own your prompt concepts, the compiled code belongs to the public domain so that we can maintain a collaborative learning environment.

Yes, you have complete control over your uploads. Go to your Profile page, find the simulation card you want to remove, and click the **Delete** button. This will immediately and permanently purge the code, previews, comment threads, and likes from our database.
